Polished
To Perfection

Microneedling is a gentle treatment that uses a specialized exfoliating wand to sweep away the outer layer of dead skin cells. By clearing built-up surface debris, this treatment instantly reveals the fresh skin underneath, improves overall texture, and allows your serums and moisturizers to actually penetrate deeper and do their job.

Clinical Precision For Personal Transformations

Our skin care and aesthetics teams address the conditions that leave you feeling frustrated with your reflection, from the persistent redness of rosacea and stubborn acne to hyperpigmentation and melasma. By treating total skin health instead of just masking issues, we can correct common problems like chronic dryness, texture irregularities, benign lesions, and signs of aging. We utilize advanced, medical-grade techniques and products to calm inflammation and stimulate your skin’s natural healing response.

Natural shifts happen, and everyone is constantly aging, but our team can help you manage the loss of elasticity, fine lines, and sun damage that can make your skin look dull before its time. No matter what roadblock you’re facing, Anzalone & Joseph ENT and Facial Aesthetics can help you uncover the beautiful, radiant skin you’ve always dreamed of!

Expertly Guided, Beautifully Customized

What to Expect on
Your First Visit

We always start with an easy, honest conversation about your current routine, your lifestyle, and what you’re ultimately hoping to achieve. Next, we’ll perform a comprehensive skin analysis under specialized lighting to look closely at your hydration levels, sun damage, and skin texture. Some patients may receive a facial or cleanse during their first visit to kick-start their skin care journey. Instead of pushing an unrealistic 15-step routine, we’ll work with you to create a treatment plan that fits your life and gives your skin exactly what it needs to thrive!

Frequently Asked Questions

For the most part, you can keep your routine exactly as it is! The only exception is anything highly active or potentially irritating, like retinoids, tretinoin, or strong exfoliating acids (AHAs/BHAs), which should not be used for about 3 to 5 days before your appointment. This makes sure your skin isn’t overly sensitive or healing when we do your analysis and gets you to your first treatment faster.

It does, but they are microscopic! Microneedling uses an advanced, automated device to create thousands of invisible, controlled “micro-channels” in the surface of the skin. This tricks your body into thinking it needs to heal itself, triggering a massive rush of fresh collagen and elastin. To keep you entirely comfortable, we apply a high-strength numbing cream beforehand, so most patients just feel a light, vibrating pressure.

Don’t try to guess; that’s exactly what we’re here for! Microdermabrasion is a physical exfoliation that polishes away the rough, dull top layer of dead skin cells for instant brightness. Chemical peels go a bit deeper, using specialized formulas to dissolve the bonds between cells. This makes a chemical peel fantastic for targeting deeper issues like acne, sun damage, and fine lines. For some patients, both may be recommended in your treatment plan—just not in the same visit. We’ll mix and match treatments and products based on your unique skin profile.

The old-school chemical peels that left you hiding out at home for a week are a thing of the past! Most modern peels are highly sophisticated and entirely customizable. We can give you a light “lunchtime” peel that leaves you with a healthy glow, or a progressive medium peel where you might experience some mild, sunburn-like flaking for 3 to 5 days.

While these aren’t necessary for most patients, there are options for patients with severe issues like deep scarring, heavy wrinkles, extensive sun damage, and textural problems that a standard chemical peel can’t fix. More intense peels like Jessener’s, TCA, or AHA peels will cause flaking, redness, sheet-like peeling during the healing process. This is normal, but can last for several days to weeks after treatment.

It’s highly unlikely we’d recommend such aggressive treatments for most patients, unless there are severe problems that can’t be fixed otherwise. We’ll discuss options, at-home requirements, and downtime during your consultation so you know exactly what to expect before each treatment.

It all comes down to concentration and chemistry. Over-the-counter products have active ingredients that are heavily diluted and often just sit on the dead surface layer of your skin. Clinical-grade products are backed by medical science and research are formulated with higher percentages of active ingredients to actually penetrate the deeper layers of the skin where real, lasting cellular change happens.

Absolutely, but please let us know right away! There are a handful of ingredients (like salicylic acid and high-strength retinoids) and certain laser devices to avoid during pregnancy. However, we have a wide selection of safe alternatives that are perfect for tackling that stubborn pregnancy-related melasma, hormonal breakouts, and other skin issues.

It depends on your goals. For instant gratification, services like facials and microdermabrasion can leave you glowing the very same day. For deeper corrective changes, like fading hyperpigmentation, clearing acne, or softening wrinkles, the process can take several sessions over several weeks. It takes time for your skin cells to naturally turn over and build new, healthy collagen, so a quick fix isn’t always going to cut it. Think of it like going to the gym: a single workout helps, but consistency is where the transformation happens!
